In August, 2014 The Roy M. Speer Student Center was remodeled and offers a welcoming and information-rich physical and online environment. It is a hub of activity offering library and academic services, collaborative and social areas, along with a computer lab and individual study rooms.

Warner Brothers shot the movie Dolphins Tale with Morgan Freeman in 2010 showcasing the gorgeous buildings details. Fun Fact: A lot of the students got to participate in movie by being extras!
