Our campus — both on the Upper School and Lower School side of things — is designed to let kids discover life and enjoy each other’s company.
The Lower School — which runs from Kindergarten to 7th grade — offers a broad and deep curriculum that includes innovative programs like STEM and Marine Science.
We love a good challenge. With small class sizes, our teachers are able to meet students where they are, then push them further than they ever thought possible.
We know what matters. When we ask our students to describe Farragut in one word, many say “family” and it’s true. They take care and look out for their peers as if they were their own brothers and sisters.
In Upper School — which runs from 8th to 12th grade — it’s a common occurrence to find a student using one of the kayaks at our waterfront, shooting hoops at night with friends on our outdoor basketball courts, playing ping pong in the student lounge, or watching a movie on the giant movie screen.
We’re a military prep school for a reason. We walk and act with a purpose in mind. Our day is structured unlike any other institution around. This approach to school and life is a large reason why we have such a high graduation rate and why our alumni are so successful in life.
Yet, we also know how to decompress and enjoy life. One of the benefits of Farragut is our global community. We have kids from several Tampa Bay neighborhoods just as much as we have kids from the other side of the world. It’s not unheard of to have a group of friends hailing from America, Brazil, the Bahamas, Russia, and China.
