West Grinder

“Grinder” is an aged term that refers to a concrete-asphalt area.  Our west grinder looks over the waterfront and Park Street.  Our flagpole is located here, and it is the site of flag raisings, Family Day parades, university acceptance announcements,  and assemblies.  The seal at the base of the flagpole is repainted every year by the Senior class.
