Commandant hosts holiday party for boarders
Commandant and Mrs. Wallingford (Nurse Kim) graciously hosted our boarders, staff, and faculty in their home on two separate evenings prior to winter break to celebrate the holiday season.
For our boarders it was a time to relax and unwind after mid-term exams, and to mix and mingle with friends before departing for their homes across America and around the world.
For staff and faculty it was an opportunity to spend quality time with colleagues and students.
A beautiful decorated Christmas tree, a blazing fire, stockings hung over the fireplace, plentiful Christmas decorations, music, games, and the movie Polar Express on TV put everyone in a festive holiday spirit.
“Warm hospitality, fellowship, and great food were the orders of the day,” said Steve Edwards. “A wonderful time was had by all. Commandant Wallingford and Nurse Kim contribute immeasurably to life at Farragut, and everyone is grateful to them both for all they do for us and for this special holiday treat.”
