Upper School students win awards at 12th Annual Florida Statewide Chinese Competition
Ten students, who take Mandarin Chinese with Mrs. Rue, competed at the 12th Annual Florida Statewide Chinese Competition (FSCC). This year the competition was held on February 10th and 11th 2017 at St. Andrew’s School in Boca Raton.
Each team at the competition participated in a team-based Jeopardy contest, which included questions on Chinese culture, language, traditions, history, geography, landmarks, people, literature, art, inventions, news, and major events. They also put on a cultural performance, but the big event was the test.
